The One n Only, Patty-P: Hellllllllllo World!

Hey, this is Patty P speaking...fresh from Browns Valley in good ole Wine Country, CA. I recently have been bored on the computer, so I thought 'Why not start a blog?' and cure some partial boredom.

First off, I have to say that my blog inspiration has come from none other than the finest, Guadalajara Joe. His blog is off the heezy, and make sure to visit it for a laugh or two or hundred.

Recently, my internet exploration has been limited to only a couple of sites...

1. The first one, is Ultimatebet.net ... since I'm not over the drinking age of 21, I found out that there were some places that one could gamble at age 18 which amazed me because I thought all casinos were 21+... This site has addicted me to some blackjack and texas holdem style poker.. and as of today, I have lost about $40, which I'm still trying to win back..shhh, don't judge me.

It's pretty B.S. on the odds for blackjack though, because whenever i place a high bet, the dealer always gets a 10 card and another hidden, while i end up getting a freaking 14 or something, so like I have to hit and end up busting..pisses me off...oh and i love when i get 20, and somehow the dealer who starts with 13, always manages to snag an 8 and get 21..fucking rigged i say..but Texas Holdem is where it's at right now..where I can play actual people. FUN

2. Another internet time waster is Facebook, the new Myspace .... I started using Facebook the end of my senior year of high school. I believe my first facebook friend was nonetheless, Coco Shelton, who also goes to the same college as me, UCSC (again, don't judge me)... I entered a whole new world with this website, as you could connect with all your friends from school over the years and also with people from different cities and states, as long as you knew how to spell their name write... only let down is that i cannot seem to find my best friend from pre-school and grade school, Jed Noonkester .... so if anyone finds him, give me a hoot!

Another let down, is that there isnt a music player that you can have on your personal page, which Myspace is known for....and also for Facebook chatting, there is a limited number of smiley face characters that can be typed, unlike instant messengers like AIM or Yahoo Messenger. The shark one is sick though..

3. Aplia.com is where is spend my time doing online community college summer school homework for econ. Usually the assignments are due at 11:45 PM on Tues/Fri nites so I tend to start them at around 11 PM... procrastination streams in my blood i guess..

4. Can I ask you a question? Well I guess I just did..anyways, Would you like to get $25 for basically just searching the internet? Of course you would.. Well at Scour, all you have to do is search all your searches that you would do on Google, but on Scour. For each search, you get a point, for each vote if a link is good or bad, you get a point, and for each comment, you get a point...also if you add a friend, you get 1/4 of their points..but enough of that math nonesense, once you get 6500 points, you get a $25 Visa gift card in the mail.. Cha-CHING.. also, each month you are automatically entered in to win $1,000 just by searching. I know 6500 points may seem alot and take forever, but if you use Scour(which searches from Google and Yahoo) in place of Google when you are on the internet, within a couple of weeks you will be getting your $25 in no time...
